Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team at our Head Office. In this role, you will provide technical support to all bank employees, maintain IT infrastructure, and assist with the implementation of digital banking solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge banking technology and contribute to our digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Support core banking system operations and resolve system issues
- Assist with the deployment and maintenance of digital banking platforms
- Document technical issues and solutions in the IT ticketing system
- Conduct regular system maintenance and updates
- Ensure IT security protocols are followed and report security incidents
- Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience with network administration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with banking systems and financial software is a plus
- Understanding of IT security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed for system maintenance
