Loan Officer

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our Cebu branch. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, authorizing, and recommending approval of loan applications. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and guide them through the loan process while ensuring compliance with lending policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and assess creditworthiness of applicants
• Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessment
• Interview loan applicants to gather financial information and documentation
• Explain loan products, terms, and conditions to potential borrowers
• Process loan applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain relationships with existing borrowers and ensure timely loan repayments
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and identify potential risks
• Prepare loan documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments for loan processing and disbursement
• Meet individual and team lending targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in lending or credit analysis
• Strong understanding of credit evaluation and risk assessment
• Knowledge of banking regulations and lending policies
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and loan management systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
